ILSI America was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. The business model at the time was simple and became a supplier of crystal and clock oscillators to support the North American frequency control market. Over the next 30 years, as global demand for frequency-controlled products grew exponentially and globally, ILSI responded to changing markets and customer bases through organic growth and acquisitions.

ILSI AmericaLLC offers a wide range of frequency control products. Our main business is the development and supply of quartz or piezoelectric crystal products, including crystal oscillators of various package types and quartz or piezoelectric crystals. Our crystal oscillator packages include clock oscillators, MEMS oscillators, VCXO, TCXO, TCVCXO and OCXO products. In 1995, ILSI opened its office in Beijing, China. In 1998, ILSI America moved into the 10,000-square-foot world headquarters in Reno, Nevada. In 2013, ILSI acquired MMDMonitor/Quartztek. The acquisition of MMDMonitor/Quartztek doubles our existing global frequency control print position and active customer base. ILSI's acquisition of MMD does not interfere with our customer supply chain.
